Google and Snowstorms
Have any of you gmail using mofos seen the new Google Chat feature? As usual, I feel as though Google has put a new, less-annoying, more-efficient twist on what the internet already has to offer. I've heard they're planning to roll out their very own operating system?
In other news, Baltimore is gripping for its first real snow of the season. Early predictions seem to be hovering somewhere around 6-12 inches. My presumption is that this city will be totally paralyzed as soon as the first .5 inches hits. Right now it is mostly cloudy and people are already gouging each other's eyes out for the last can of creamed beef at the local food mart. Stay tuned to the Jamo weather center for the latest updates.

Since the Jamo weather center seems to be out of service due to the severe snow storm, I'll give you guys an update.
The snow hit, and we got somewhere between 12 and 14 inches. By 11 the next morning (Sunday), the roads were drivable and we were able to get around okay. By the end of the day, the roads were well cleared and traffic was moving around normally (as normally as they can get out here).
However, this morning (Monday), they still found it necessary to cancel or delay every school or government office in the entire state. My company, on the other hand, expects that if the roads are too bad to drive on, you walk to work. I was just happy to get to travel the 25 miles in the car
